A Charity Event benefiting Family to Family Network &
Other Area Charities and Student Scholarships The Rotary Club of Katy Sunrise is presenting the 5th Annual Katy Sunrise Rotary Run, a 5K and 1-Mile Walk on Saturday, May 17, 2008 to benefit Family to Family Network & Other Area Charities. Family to Family Network is a non-profit organization formed in 1993 to help families of children with disabilities. Funds from the day’s activities will also benefit other charities that operate right here in our community such as The Brookwood Community, Krause Children’s Center, Breath of Life Children’s Center Clinic, and H.A.L.T.E.R., as well as sponsoring scholarships for high school students in the Katy area. Other beneficiaries of the Rotary Club of Katy Sunrise are Foundation Nameste India who helps Indian families by drilling water wells to help with their most basic necessity, fresh water; assisting in the donation of a commercial washer and dryer to a maternity hospital in Nicaragua; and sponsoring in-bound and out-bound high school exchange students through the Rotary International Youth Exchange program
These programs, scholarships and charities are only possible because of the generosity of corporations, locally owned businesses, and individuals whose donations support the Katy Sunrise Rotary Foundation. With this in mind, we are asking for your financial support and involvement with the 2008 Run & Fun.
